Build a Tiny App Using the Standard Elm Architecture

Build a Tiny App Using the Standard Elm Architecture

5:34
**Notice**: This lesson uses Elm 0.17! [Here's a document about the important differences between 0.16 and 0.17](https://github.com/elm-lang/elm-platform/blob/master/upgrade-docs/0.17.md). This lesson gives a rapid-paced introduction to what's known as the Elm Application Architecture. You can read about it in greater detail here: [guide.elm-lang.org](http://guide.elm-lang.org/architecture/index.html). We'll build a counter that utilizes the standard Elm combination of a model, a view, and update function. See the linked code for a good starting place.

This is all great. Now you just need to share your complete editor configuration/stack. It's so sexy i wanna spank it. And the narrow font? It feels like you invented the wheel.

Thanks for the compliments!

Here's what I've got going on at the moment:

  1. A custom build of Atom (I've only applied a hack to remove the native Mac title bar)
  2. https://github.com/atom-material/atom-material-ui with a dark grey color picked as my accent color in the settings
  3. https://atom.io/themes/atom-material-syntax
  4. https://atom.io/packages/language-elm
  5. Changed the tab color in my iTerm2 profile preferences (you probably have to have the latest beta installed for this to work, and it only works when there's just one tab open in the window)
  6. The beautiful http://www.fsd.it/shop/fonts/pragmatapro/
