Hi thanks I've really enjoyed your RN lessons. I see at the end of the video you're also having the issue I've had with background images in that the content loads then there is a (sometimes significant) delay before the background loads. I was just wondering if this is to do with doing this in the development environment and then it doesn't happen on a 'proper' distributed app, or would the same behaviour happen on an app installed through the app store? Thanks

This should only happen in development mode, in production it will be instant. Also I used an extremely large background without even attempting to optimize anything.
