This course walks you through the steps of creating a News web app using Vue.js and the Nuxt framework. You will learn how to create dynamic pages for each section of your application and load, store, display, filter, and style the data. Then end result will be a News app with multiple category pages, comments for each section, and user pages.

Vue (pronounced /vjuː/, like view) is a progressive framework for building user interfaces. Unlike other monolithic frameworks, Vue is designed from the ground up to be incrementally adoptable. The core library is focused on the view layer only, and is very easy to pick up and integrate with other libraries or existing projects. On the other hand, Vue is also perfectly capable of powering sophisticated Single-Page Applications when used in combination with modern tooling and supporting libraries.

We take the opengraph image we wrote in codesandbox and copy it into our serverless function. We use Rollup to compile the component into an IIFE (immediately invoked function expression) that can run in our headless browser environment and cover a wide set of rollup plugins that we need for compatibility. Each time a page loads, you can check if you're on the client or server and avoid doing unnecessary loading based on how the page was rendered.
