Prisma is a next-generation open-source ORM For Node.js and TypeScript that helps developers build faster and make fewer errors.

It supports the following databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, SQLite, and more recently, MongoDB (Preview).

Prisma provides a complete toolkit:

- Prisma Client: Auto-generated and type-safe database client
- Prisma Migrate: Declarative data modeling and customizable migrations
- Prisma Studio: Modern UI to view and edit data

Next up is creating a Planetscale database for our application. Planetscale works a lot like GitHub in that it uses branches for development and production.

We will create a new database and then create a dev branch to separate the data we create in dev from what is in production.

When the database is created, we'll set the `DATABASE_URL` in our `.env` file for the main and dev branches.

The last thing we will need to do is push the prisma schema to planetscale so that it can create the necessary tables for our application to function.

“a11y” stands for “accessibility.” It is a numeronym, with 11 representing the count of letters between the letter a and the letter y.

Accessibility is broken down into 4 categories of disability: visual, cognitive, auditory, motor. 

Regardless of the category of disability, accessibilities aim in web development is to make applications and websites usable for everyone.

To audit our app for accessibility issues at runtime we can use Cypress to run our application in a browser environment and then with the aid of the axe-core `cypress-axe` library we can analyze the current page for any accessibility issues.

In this lesson we install the [Redux Dev Tools](https://github.com/zalmoxisus/redux-devtools-extension#installation) extension into Chrome and demonstrate how it lets you inspect the various actions passing through your redux store as well as all of the data it contains. I've been using Cursor for a very long time and their "Agent" feature in Composer is fairly new, so I'm still getting used to it. But since Windsurf recently got onto the stage with their Cascade agent, they've slowly been gaining the mind share on the UX for coding agents.
