In this lesson you will learn how to perform the delete operations on postgres database table entries using prisma client.

Dimitri Ivashchuk: [0:01] Finally, we want to be able to delete from our database. It's also quite easy to do with Prisma. We need to just do await prisma.users.delete. Then we specify the parameter, like what we want to delete. In this case, we want to delete the user with id 1. If we do that and save, you now see that user is deleted.

[0:36] We can't perform the delete operation anymore. It throws an error here, because there is no such user with the id 1 anymore, nothing to delete, which means we have done everything in the correct way.
