In this course we will build an elm app using the style elements library. The focus of the course will be how to use style elements, httpbuilder, and routes in elm. We are going to fetch and display some data using the HttpBuilder library, decode it, and set up some simple routes.

In this lesson we will take a basic application, bootstrapped with [create-elm-app](https://github.com/halfzebra/create-elm-app), and begin converting the `div`s and `h1`s into `style-element`s.

Style elements separate our styles from the layout and positioning of elements. The `Element` module gives us everything we need for our view while the `Style` module will be the base for creating our stylesheet.

Render a Basic Element with style-elements in Elm

In this lesson we will create an HTTP request using the pacakge httpbuilder. It allows us to easily build up requests and has lots of extra helpers. We will then decode the data from the request to make it type safe in elm using elm decode pipeline.

All while using the package remotedata. Remotedata helps us develop our UI when it gets in different states for example: loading, not asked, success, and failure. All of these states are possible when making an http request and the user deserves to know what is going on!

In this lesson we will properly map over a list of items using `List.map`, reverse them using `List.reverse` and display them in elm. We are using the package style-elements from mdgriffith.

We will also create a hover effect for each item and a css transition as well.
