In this lesson we will install the latest version of Angular CLI and use the ng new command to scaffold out the application.

Instructor: [00:00] We install the latest version of Angular CLI globally. We then run ng new followed by the name of our project, store.

[00:06] We pass in the routing flag to add a routing module and set the style to SCSS. This will create a new folder, scaffold our base application and run npm install.

[00:16] To start a development server, we CD into a new folder and run ng serve. We open source app, app component of the HTML and change the contents. We see that the development server picks up the change, and rebuilds the app.
