Dendron has baked in support for creating daily notes. This is a place where you can take quick notes on something or if you don't know where to put a note yet.

You can use CMD + SHIFT + I to create a daily note.

These notes default to daily.journal.yyyy.mm.dd hierarchy.

Ian Jones: [0:01] Oftentimes, you want to take notes just during the day. Sometimes, they're throwaway. Sometimes, there's something that you'll want to refile later on a specific topic.

[0:12] Dendron has a daily note system built in. We can create a daily note by hitting Command-Shift-I. You can see that the hierarchy for this daily note is daily.journal, and then the year, the month, and the day. Now we can put our daily notes. A lot of times, you can do bullet journaling this way or put whatever sort of notes that you want to for a given day.
